What Do I Need to Bring to Nursery?

Although we supply what we can for the children, there are some essentials your child will need to bring. See below for all information- please reach out if there are any issues or questions.

All children need to come to nursery with a bottle of water. This will be refilled throughout the day as and when required.

Book bags – children can borrow books from our nursery library. These can be changed during each session. Children can take them home to share with family.

Lunchboxes are needed for those who are staying for lunch at 12pm. Please ensure this is a healthy lunch box and follow our no nut policy.

Please supply a spare set of clothing, nappies and nappy products such as cream/sacks/wipes, in a small rucksack type bag.

All children will need a pair of indoor shoes, these can be slippers, plimsoles or crocs (something they can take on and off independently – no laces please). These will be kept in their drawers at nursery.

In wet weather children will need to come to nursery with a puddle suit and wellies. These will be sent home after every session. Again, these need to be named. We go outside in all weathers so it’s essential children come with waterproof clothing.

In the spring/summer months, please provide sun hats and apply an all day sun cream on your child before they come to nursery.

Please avoid flip flops or shoes that can prevent running safely.

In the winter children should bring woolly hats and mittens to nursery. No gloves please as these are tricky to put on.

Please ensure that everything sent to nursery is labelled.
